Microblading is a procedure categorized under permanent makeup. However unlike traditional cosmetic tatooing, it is less invasive and is considered semi-permanent. Microblading typically lasts 1-3 years depeninding on skin type and skin care routine. The procedure is done using a hand tool to create natual looking hair strokes. Microblading can dramatically correct or fully reconstruct lost eyebrows and is excellent for those wanitng to enhance their brows or who have little to no eyebrows, thinning brows from age or over tweezing. Pigments used are chosen to match the natural or desired brow colour. Skin tone will also be taken into consideration.
This technique differs from Miroblading in that we create a powdery filled brow similar to the look of makeup, as opposed to a simulated hair. The tails of the brow are darker and fade into a light start to the brows giving that perfect ombre makeup affect! The effect will be waterproof, smudge-proof and completely realistic. It lasts longer than micoblading, typically around 2 years on average, depending on skin type, lifestyle and various other factors. Over time the pigment fades leaving your natural brows behind.
